CT DEEP stocks a few rivers with broodstock and I finally got around to targeting them with my 11’ 6wt switch. I love the look of Intruders so I stopped into Compleat Angler to get some Spey fly goodies. 25mm shank with some experimental ties to a #4 octopus hook proved successful after about 15 casts I came tight to a nice 20” fish. I look forward to figuring out some two-handed casting as I learn the swing game.
