Betta Fish: Are these eggs on a new store bought plant?

I didn't notice this when I purchased them but these are attached to the leaf of a plant I got at the pet store. Second picture provides a little bit of size reference. It's a clear jelly like appearance. Should I remove these or see what comes out?
