I was at Hot Creek recently and it was drivable. Wondering on road conditions to Owens River before I make the four hour drive from Truckee, since we’ve been hit with decent snow since then.

No useful advice for you, but I’ll never forget the few cold mornings I spent on the Owens, sleeping in my car and waking up to the geothermal fog. Fishing was horrible for me but I didn’t mind.
