Add more swivels.
Edit: everyone is just going to say tie the line straight to the lure. I think.

I personally don’t use snap swivels with rooster tails. I never have a problem with them straight to the line. But I mainly fish for trout and they’re a little picky about extra visible hardware

You should add a leader, at least 12 inches
