Finally moved to a state where I can ice fish (AK) parents gave me this for Christmas but I have no clue what I’m doing asking for some advice

It’s a good start! An auger with some good sharp blades will be a great addition as well as a heater, sled and an insulated ice house. I recommend a strike master 8” 40v lithium auger, an Otter Vortex pro cabin, and a classic buddy heater. Having never ice fished in Alaska I couldn’t begin to tell you what jigs, fish finders or anything else to use but this will hopefully help get you on your way to a lifetime on the ice!!!
