It started as a small singular white spot on the side of her tail. Became a little bit bigger, but now, after Christmas and me returning home, half of her tail flesh is gone. What is this?

I’m not 100% sure it looks like general fin rot to me I don’t see any worms coming out so that scratches out nematodes for me when was the last time you did a water change? How big is your tank and what other fish are in the tank? Do they also have signs of fin rot of just this one fish?

The [same](https://www.reddit.com/r/Aquariums/s/lBPsQlIBO5) sickness killed all but two of my danios 9 months ago. It is NOT Ichtyo or Epistylis, I thought about fish tuberculosis, but that doesn’t really fit.

What other fish are in the tank? That dude looks like someone took a bite out of him. Fin rot breaks down from the fins towards the tissue, this is a chunk missing that didn’t even have a fin to begin with. I think I even see the spine in the middle.
Is the fish swimming ok? Might need a antibiotics but I don’t know how well a fish bounces back from a deep wound like that. I have also had terrible luck with CPDs though.
