After someone posted about a copper John fooling a brown, my zero confidence fly is a copper John.
They don’t work. They don’t catch fish. Wanna get skunked? Tie on a copper John.
Is this true? Well not quite, but it’s fun to hate something irrationally on occasion.

Nah they work pretty good. Even got a few king salmon on them this year
Try as I might, I just cant stay with a blob….or a boobie!
I know they’re supposed to be magic but I haven’t had any success with them maybe cuz I don’t fish them long enough or the right way or something who the hell knows but it usually tear them off and put on a balanced leech pretty quickly LOL
This is one of the only flies I’ve ever caught anything with. I’m a newb though.
