Closed out 2024 in the Smokies pulling gems out of the mountain

Warming weather and rain this weekend in the smokies made for some interesting conditions. Didn’t catch many but it was a wonderful time out on the water. All of my fish were caught on a pheasant tail nymph.

Here my mini boogie man fly. The tail feather doesn’t go sideways to create the jigging motion, it goes up top and dances side to side on the water. I’m done you guys. I’m going to catch fish with all these flies, and report back lol
