I’m mainly going to be targeting Brooke trout on this trip in early to mid June. I have Brooke trout essential fry flies like royal wulffs and some Addams variations but if any Vermont natives have suggestions or anyone who’s visited all help would be appreciated.

In addition to what you’ve mentioned…. Caddis, Beatles, and my favorite – hoppers. A nice fat hopper is my favorite lead fly as it works well in the summer and serves as an effective indicator for a nymph dropper (typically a copper John for me)
