I've wanted to try to make some patterns for ice fishing. I thought this would pass for a waxy. And these zonkers just seem like they'd be good for some pan fish. Have you had any success with flies for hard water?

I’ve never fished flies on hard water. I was looking into it and leeches in natural colors seems to be a good choice for my local waters.
