I didn't find a magnetic holder on my local shop and I do not have time to wait for shipping. So I take a PVC pipe, cut it, split one side and attach a cord. It hold the net pretty well for quick landing, the pvc pipe open to attach the net and open when you pull quickly. the handle of the landing net have a elastic with a metal clip, that part its conected on the fishing bag allways, specially while landing. If it work, it work.

I use two of the magnetic releases type one at the top of my net and one at the bottom and it hooks onto my sling pack nice and is easily removed and reconnected
I give it 90 days before we see the same thing from Simms for $150
