Anybody got and design plans for a DIY flip over shanty? I could just buy one but I really enjoy building something myself, plus It’s a hard purchase to justify as where I live the ice season is really hit or miss. Even if it costs the same or more to build one if it works good when I need it and it gives me some entertainment building in my free time I’m all for it. I weld for a living so the fabrication part is easy might struggle a little with a sewing machine and such large panels of material but I’m sure I can figure it out. I really like looking at a bunch of diy builds to see what different features/amentities others come up with and add it to my plans as I’m building

They’re pretty simple when it comes down to it but I don’t you’ll actually save much money once you factor in the costs of a tub and the quality of fabric that are used on the ice huts these days. Plus conduit bending and all of that complication with the folding.
