As for treatment, reduce temp to the lowest your livestock can tolerate and pull back on feeding. Also do large water changes 30-50%). Bacterial blooms occur when water temps warm and there are excess nutrients in the water column, that’s why you have cyanobacteria/blue green algae fish consumption advisories in the summer.
I would resist treating with antibiotics, since it will also kill your beneficial bacteria, requiring you to re-cycle your tank. But if you must, erythromycin is effective.
