I live in very southern Ohio and we don’t get an ice fishing season / “safe” ice every year. I love all kinds of fishing but I’m a cat fisherman at heart. The past couple years I have been getting more and more into ice fishing and have been trying to not just fish for panfish since they are the easiest to catch. After 3 years it finally happened. Got this channel cat on a spoon tipped with half a minnow. Such a fun fight on 4lb line.
