Staying in Cape Coral Florida till Thursday.
I caught 1 shovel nose the first/only time I went surf fishing (2-3 years ago)
I’m from Wisconsin so anything coming out of the ocean is like 🤩😱
I musky/carp fish back home, fighting a bigger size fish (3-4ft) isn’t going to be a challenge from a skill level. Once it’s hooked I got it from there. . A bottle nose, black tip, or even some rays would make my trip.
Where should I go? Ft. Myers, santibel island, etc?
What’s your pro tips you could give to a freshwater angler?
I got 2 heavy rods, nothing fancy, but they work just fine. Fresh line and newer rods..

Find the local bait shop social media sites, youll know if anyone else is catching anything. Bonus if you can spot the rigs/lures in the fish mouth so you know what to bring.
