i don’t know if this is relevant to this sub but i just love fish and i have no one irl to talk about it with. anyway i have wanted a HUGE aquarium and a goldfish pond for years now. i don’t have any fish right now because i don’t think i have the money or knowledge to achieve something even close to this. but watching my betta swim around was better than watching tv! watching him get comfortable & build bubble nests was so exciting. like hell yea im doing something right! i get so excited when i see a tank somewhere. so many people don’t realize fish have personalities and they’ll swim to you and stare at you because they like looking at/recognize human faces. im a crazy fish lady at this point, if you have a giant tank comment a pic!

I do believe that is a goldfish I see swimming among the reef in the first picture lol
What happens if you need maintenance done on the bottom of the tank? Does someone have to go in there in a wet suit like they do in those huge tanks in Auariums? I’ve always been curious about how they handle that in homes.
SAME!! I would love a huge aquarium in my house like one of those.
We have a small one with a decent amount of fish that I sit in front of often and watch. We also have a small pond outside with goldfish in it, and during the warmer months, lots of little froggies come and make it their home too.
It makes me happy 😊
