I live near one of the most ice fished lakes in southern Wisconsin. This was my view when I was leaving from my overnight trip. Picture doesn’t do it justice. As I watched vehicles pour out onto the lake as I was loading up back at shore. Easily 500 people out there as of 8am this morning. All on a 2k acre lake.

the closest lake to me usually looks like this but within an hour or so there’s a few that will be completely deserted other than snowmobiles …. makes no since
