Would I be able to use this for making hole in about 6in ice or is this only for dirt? I’ve seen people ask on the website but no answers and no videos

Obviously I could just spend a little more and get a strikemaster I’m just trying to see if anyone is out there using one

If you have a nice Dewalt/Milwaukee/makhita drill at home. Just buy the auger for it & use that. I have a Dewalt & it is a lightweight setup that will do well for you for a long time.

Looks like Hart makes an ice auger bit you could change the earth bit out with.
