It’s supposed to float so it sits up slightly from the bottom. You’re all good to go.👍🏻

Personally I’d use a tungsten coated braid and just strip the last 2 inches at hook end ( roughly where your shot is) and that will solve the braid floating issue. Either that or just stick another shot on it further back.
