Hi there! Let me preface this with I know nothing about fly fishing. I mentioned to my grandpa that I’m interested in learning and he gave me these rods. I’m wondering if someone can point me in the right direction and let me know what I’m working with? Any clue what they may be worth?

Not sure on value, probably not much. But the 9′ 5 wt St Croix rod and echo reel should be a good entry level combo to get you started, especially if it came from your Grandpa. 9′ 5 wt is the most common rod, and can be used for most all types of fishing. If everything seems to be in working condition just snag a new line for that reel and start learning!
