yeah, I have th 5/6 weight version paired with a lamson liquid reel. The stock reel is sort of crap but the rod is good, caught tons of big small mouth bass with it.

Learned on that kit in a 3 weight! Still use it! I’ve caught probably over a thousand fish on it over years. Super decent for the price, just stiff so you have to adjust your casting on light stuff especially. I’d say a killer deal to get stated!
