I want to get a nice lighter setup as I don’t have one, in my area we have stocked trout coming up, then I’d use this for panfish/crappie after mainly. I’m thinking after research, going with the Shimano Miravel for my reel, then the Fenwick Walleye Spinning Rod – medium light, fast action 6’9” as the rod as I have seen a lot of good things about it, and the lifetime warranty seems nice. Was wondering if anyone had any options on this, or any other suggestions as It’ll be my first time targeting or even looking at these fish!

I have the miravel c3000hg and it’s pretty light for a 3000 size reel. I use it for bass and inshore. Good reel imo.
