I got this 12’ Abs plastic boat and trailer a week ago, and have a mini kota endura 38 trolling motor and group 27 deep cycle battery. Would that be enough as my main motor? The boat itself only weighs about 100lbs.

That would depend on how far and how fast you want to go.

It beats rowing. That was basically how my dad and I fished for years. Just fish within a mile of the launch and it’s fine. Bring oars just in case.
