Can u get away with $50 pair, or it worth throwing a few more bucks at them?

The important things are probably polarization, anti-reflective coatings, darkening effect based on brightness, snd that the sunglasses fit your head. The cost can probably be anything depending on the brand.

I used to just buy whatever cheap “polarized” glasses I could find off the shelf at target, until my wife bought me a pair of Orvis glasses. I couldn’t believe the difference in quality and capability.

I have Costas and Flying Fishermans. They work about the same.

I sprung for Costas (you can find deals) and turned out they’re great for everyday use as well. I say get something good if you can afford it and don’t just use them fishing.

Polarized. Hugeee difference, even with a cheapo pair.
