Does Utah have any rivers that run through flat grass plains like Owens river? Craving a trip to Owens but wondering if I have anything in my home state like it

Parts of the Blacksmith fork do just south of the Wyoming border. Guess you could say the Weber does too, for just a little bit?

Yes, there are many. Regardless of where you are in Utah, there are so many better rivers than the Owens within a 3 hour drive I’m confused why you’d be craving it.

I’ve had plenty of good times on the Owens for the record… when I lived in LA.

The Sevier down by Hatch and Bryce is pretty meadow rivery, but think most is private. Not sure about access.

    Upper Provo in Heber?

The Teton at Two Forks in Drigg looks exactly like that, and it’s a few hours drive from SLC.

I mean the Owens is fishing pretty good. Couple people this weekend were catching300+ inches of fish in a day with one guy alone having almost 1,000in
