Deer Creek was optional today to ice fish or fish from shore, for your every day cowboy the ice was plenty thick in some spots 3”-4”
I opted for the fly rod from the ice, by the time I got back to the slab I’d planned on fishing from it had broken off and was floating…. Sometimes the timing is just right. Stayed on shore and slammed some rainbows, would post to fly fishing but I feel this was more of an ice adventure.
