Tank specs: 33 gallons, no co2, weekly water changes
It’s stocked with tons of snails, 4 angelfish, a healthy fez dozen guppies, 5 khuli loaches, and 6 amano shrimp.
I just decided to post because I was sitting staring at my tank and I’m in awe of how the carpet is growing. I’m very happy with my tank but this is a year and a half after lots of trial and error. Lots of different species of plants died off immediately or were consumed en masse by the hordes of snails. I’d just love to add some cherry shrimp to it but I’m worried the angelfish will pick them off. They keep my guppie population in check, but they leave the amanos alone. Any words of advice?
