I grew up hating ice fishing just sitting on a bucket staring at tip ups. Now its my favourite thing to do.

I bought a buddy heater like that a few years ago for my dog while duck hunting. Now I won’t leave home without it. I love that thing

I run the same heater in a quick fish 2 and it’s awesome, a little involved to set up and tear down to move but a lot of times I just just set it up in a spot I do good and use it as a home base to sit down and warm up between hole hopping

It is much more enjoyable….. until you invite one or two friends. Then it gets cramped. Then you’ll want something bigger. Which is where I’m at. BUT….. until then. Enjoy fishing. It is more fun when that wind isn’t hitting you in the face and freezing your balls off.
