Haven’t been able to catch anything for the past week down in the florida pan handle (30a area). I’ve been using shrimp and fish bites on all 3 rods. Each rod being casted at different spots in the surf and haven’t even got a nibble! In the summer i’m used to every cast but the winter has been rough. Also, it’s hard to read the surf… it seems like the first sandbar is really close to shore, and I can’t find any cuts where the fish would be. So i’m just looking for spots where the dark water is the closest and launching my 12ft rod into it. with the 2 other 10’s around close to the bar. Maybe it’s just where i’m located? But i’ve caught them here before. Confused and a little pissed off but it’s fishing not catching😂.
