Hi all. I'm looking for some genuine advice. I'm currently in the process of setting up this tank up to house some of my orange Sakura shrimp from my other tank. It's a 30x30x30cm 22L (approx. 5.8G) Nano. It's my first time using CO2 so I'm testing it out for a few weeks before putting any live creatures in and is still a work in progress.
Was initially only going to be for shrimp and snails, but I'm now wondering If I could keep a single Betta in there? Is there enough swim space? I don't want to be one of those guys who keeps a Betta in a tiny cramped space so if it's not suitable please let me know.
If I did get a Betta do you think it would need some bigger plants in the background to create a hiding space etc? Any advice welcome.

Before reading the description I immediately thought about more hiding spaces 🫡
