It’s his second day in his new tank, and he’s already built a bubble nest. Is anything wrong?

Yes the bamboo type plant you have is semi aquatic and should not be fully submerged.

A bubble nest means he wants to breed and is happy, and the tint in the water is just tannins, which is more like the natural habitat of a betta. If water parameters check out, everything is good. If you want to do a 10-25% water change to clear it up you can.
