Hey Betta fish owners I don't really post on this sub reddit, but my friend really needs help. Somethings wrong with her betta fish. (about three years old.) and she really needs you guys help. Any advice is appreciated.

Update: she has gotten worse her left gills have gone grey and stopped working and she has a white lump, any medicine or advice recommendation is appreciated

i’m thinking it might be a tumor. I’m not sure if there’s much you can do 🙁 i’m so sorry for you and your friend (this could be wrong, this is just what i’m thinking)

Looks like a tumor sadly there’s not really anything you can do. She’s three so the older age just caught up with her genetics.
As bad as it sounds it might be best to put her down as it’s not going to fix its self and there’s no surgery you can preform. I’m so sorry op. maybe someone with a bit more experience might know something I don’t
