So this guy has been one of those ”now you see me, now you don’t” type of shrimp and he has been a no show for about 2 months now.
When he showed up yesterday he had this fuzz on his body. He also seemed like he had a hard time holding on to roots and just fell down all the time.
Moved him to a hospital tank and pretty much straight away he started to climb around and filter the water.
But I’d like to know what the fuzz on his body is, if it’s harmful and how I treat it.
At first I was leaning towards fungal infection, but honestly it kinda look like some sort of algae.
Non of the fishes in his original tank show any signs of distress.
Not sure how my other Atya gabonensis are, they’ve been MIA for a long long time.
