Is the PENN Fierce IV a good pair for my offshore angler power plus 10ft medium action rod?
Looking at paring the Penn Fierce IV (5.6.1 gear ratio and 6000 spool size) with my offshore angler power plus trophy class surf spinning rod ( medium action, 10ft) rod.

It will work fine, it is a great starter reel i still have mine from 6 years ago on a jigging rod caught plenty on it. But for a little more coin you can get a daiwa bg which is a better reel.
