Hello All,

New betta owner here. I’ve had my guy for about a week. He initially hated my guts and would flare or hide whenever he saw me… but now he understands that I’m the food guy, so he swims up to me and is excited to see him.

I bought Fluval Bug Bites for him (Betta Formula). I had also bought the Fluval Freeze Dried Bloodworms for him… he HATED those (would spit them out immediately) and my snails were more than happy to eat those up.

Any suggestions on some food for a seemingly picky eater?

P.S. His name is Percival (Percy for short). He is my handsome guy – started out very blue when I got him, now he is so red and purple!

Normally fluval bug bites has done it for my picky eater. I’d try doing live flightless fruit flies and frozen bloodworms(not freezedried)

Ours wouldnt really be interested in pellets so were using frozen daphnia and brine shrimp. Two days on two days off. One block of each. I have three tanks it gets split amongst though.
