What’s the equivalence for Varivas #1 and #1.5 to American braid? The PE stuff still confuses me. Would these line be good for spinning rod if I want to cast far?

The max Lb on the box tells you, one is equivalent to 20lb braid and the other about 30#. They will be different diameters, varivas will be much thinner at the same breaking strength. You really can’t go wrong with varivas, it’s so much better than any other brand I’ve tried in the past 10 years

Roughly 10 lb and 15 lb test probably.
