I was finally able to get out and catch some today! I know the ones with the stripes are female creek chubs but I’m having trouble identifying the ones that are just silver. Maybe male creek chubs?

Where are you located?
The fish on top in the third picture, all silver and deeper body is a Red Shiner.
The fish you’re holding in pic two looks like a bigmouth shiner, but I’m not confident. Will need better photos and range.
How do you know their female creek chubs? I’m curious!
Edit: it appears there are six creek chubs, three bigmouth shiners, and one red shiner in the first picture
