looking into getting a kayak; what’s the biggest body of water a kayak can handle?

I am planning on getting something to fish more spots.

Maybe a kayak, maybe something bigger depends on what people say tbh.

Kayak + trolling motor + paddle or pedals, idk yet.

I'm sure it depends on wind speeds and everything but I'm still researching so I don't know the specifics.
