Looking for a cheap combo and my dicks has this 20% off.
Pretty much looking for a smaller cheap set up to keep in my suv to toss in cover some wacky rigged senkos or some finesses stuff from shore.

I love fishing with cheap undersized gear. I think in general people overthink fishing. If you’re tournament fishing then sure. But I keep a Shakespeare 4’6″ micro series ($22 combo) in my car and a couple tenkara rods ($7) and they both catch good sized bass. I say get it!

I have one cheap reel that’s lasted years. I’ve had others that lasted a summer.

I have the Lew’s mr trout reel on a shimano sensilite rod, I think I spent more on the braid then the reel itself 😂

I caught my pb on a Shakespeare reverb from Walmart ($13) with a 1/16 oz ozark trail inline spinner (0.97)
