I'm brand new to kayaking and on the hunt for a tandem pedal kayak. Living near a river in Quebec means I need something that can handle moderate currents when the dam is open, and having the pedal option will be great for when my arms need a break. Plus, a double kayak would be fantastic for paddling with a friend.
I've come across a kayak that seems to tick all the boxes, supposedly from a company called Yanes. However, I'm finding very little information about this specific model or the company online. I'm a bit concerned it might be a low-quality import and want to make sure it will be durable and meet my needs on the water.
Has anyone heard of Yanes kayaks or have any advice on what to look for in a reliable tandem pedal kayak for river conditions? Any insights or recommendations would be hugely appreciated!
