I’m looking at this kayak. It’s a really good deal 1500 bucks. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for? Is this a good model. Anything I should be concerned about? Comes with Mirage Drive.

I bought one 4 years ago and it has been great. It had been used 3 times according to previous owner, said he bought it for his wife but she was too short to peddle it. It had been sitting on the cradles for a few years, I have not had any problems with it. There is no reverse but I have never had that so I don’t miss it.

Look for major hull damage, check for rust on drive chains, and also functioning rudder/skeg lines. If all that is good then 1500 is a solid price

Three years I paid $1200 for a used one of same model year and it came with an electric trolling motor, a fishfinder and the drive was freshly serviced by Hobie
