I’m new to betta care (this is my first betta ever and I’ve been learning a lot through caring for him)
Recently, he’s been hanging out at the sponge filter, and kind of sticking himself to it? He can get away from it, but it seems he’s resting by hanging out against it?
He’s also recently been turning white under his chin. I’m currently treating his tank for fungal infection (he’s the only inhabitant) just in case. Because of his coloring, I’m constantly worried he’s pineconing as well.
Can you guys look at this video and let me know if he seems okay? And if not, what looks problematic?

You would have to take a pic from the top to really see if he is pineconing. His scales will start pulling away from his body right behind the gills if so. I don’t think he is, but he might be getting bloated and it is making it hard to swim.
You could try fasting him for a couple of days as a precaution. It would help greatly if you could fill out the bot’s form though.
