Came across Jackson Cuda 14 for $600. Comes with seat, kayak and paddle. Is it worth the price, and I want to fish in the bay, is that a good starter kayak for me? Second picture is paddle.

Great yaks. I bought the 2nd or 3rd one off the line when they came out. I fished that yak offshore, inshore all over from the Gulf to the Keys and all my lakes in Georgia. Paddles pretty good, super stable for standing. Comfortable kayak.

Assuming there’s nothing seriously wrong, I think it’s a decent price, comes with a nice paddle. I would still try to negotiate.
The Cuda 14 is a great kayak for open water paddling like the bay. It tracks very well for a 14 kayak.

That camano hooked is a $300 paddle alone. I got one that came with my used Jackson kraken 13.5 I got for $450. If the hull looks good I’d say go for it
