You can check my post history, but this was the second time out on the pond. I took a lot of advice, watched a lot of early spring time videos. And was fishing the lipless crank baits today. It was about 50 degrees overcast, had a sheet of rain blanket the pond and then the bites started like mad. Reeled in 4 lost the 5th on the bank. Very happy with today’s performance.
Did end up loosing my tackle though, lost a biospawn rattle bot in hot sauce. This thing hooked up three of the 5. Lost to a thick mat of grass under the water.
Pulled up someone else’s lure with another mat of grass.
So is that 6 catches? Haha
But all in all was a great day!
13 troll hunter in natty light color and the biospawn rattle bot craw in hot sauce were the hot lures!
