Picked up my lifetime spitfire 10 for cheap and I want to make it into a fishing kayak with some upgrades first time I wanna upgrade is the seat…I know it’s meant for the ascend 10t and 12t kayaks but I think with a little ingenuity I could get the seat on my kayak just wondering if any done has done it before and could offer some tips

My concern is that it would put your center of gravity up too high and make you more prone to tipping. I’ve got this same seat in my Ascend FS10 which is a sit in. You’d be putting it in a small sit on, which isn’t ideal. The 12Tnis a sit on but it’s gonna be a lot more stable than your kayak
I don’t think it will work, at least not well
