Bonafide SS127/RS127

Crescent Lite II

Feel free Lure 11.5

Perception Outlaw

I’m 200 Lbs and looking for something pretty stable. Plan on adding a fish finder and perhaps later a trolling motor.

The Bonafide and Crescent are at the top of the budget. The Feelfree and the Perception I could save a little money towards some accessories.

What do we think fellas?

The wider the better, if you’re looking for stability. Bonafide sounds like it’s what you’re looking for.

  2. I had a Feelfree moken as my first kayak. Rocked it for a few years before getting into a peddle drive. I mainly fish inshore/saltwater, and i never once felt unsafe in that thing. Thought the Wheel in the Keel was gimmicky at first, but realized it beat buying $200 wheels to get it from the truck to the water.

  3. I have the pedal version of the old town (blue kayak in first pic) and it’s super stable and a lot of fun.
Heavier than my cheap sit ins, but a really solid kayak.

I have two crescent lite tackle II’s, one for me and my wife, and we love them. They paddle so smooth, and even with the seat in the high position, I’ve never felt close to tipping. We have loaded them up with about 120 lbs of camping and fishing gear each, with 0 problems.
