The last ride for my redington vice 5wt

Some say you will break a rod in your first year fly fishing. Today,I joined that crew. A year would have been May 5th. This evening, my redington vice 5wt had its last fight when fighting my personal best rainbow after it took down my personal best small mouth. Nothing all night. I seconded guessed going home but I said what’s another 20 min. This is why I fish.
