Honey holes still exist

I moved to Libertyville Illinois a few months ago. Never seen more people fishing in my life. I made a mission to find remote un fished gems. I have searched maps for hours, wondered through woods, logged 100’s of miles and struck out numerous times. I found it yesterday. 30 fish all 3-5 pounds and lost 2 that snapped 20lb braid. These are all different fish caught in two hours. Literally every other cast if not every cast. 3/4 jig and 4.5” craw of brush hog. It was hands down not even close second best fishing of my life. This is your reminder if your sick of crowds go find them. They’re out there.
