Does it have a leak or is it from a spill?

Is that a leak

You’ll need a new aquarium (I’m pretty sure).

Smoosh paper towels underneath the tank they will wick the water out.

The important thing would be to detect where the water is coming from since if it is a leak you will have to empty and repair it.

Thats a ton of flex in that table. NO. Not the good kind. I wonder if its assisting in creating a leak.

Get a proper stand! That table will fail, especially if it’s soaking up water…
If that is a leak you will need a new aquarium as well!

You’re prob gonna need a new stand. Hopefully the tank itself isn’t leaking but you may need to prepare for replacing that too.

drain the tank. if you have a big tote use that to keep your fish for now

Hope that water just got under there during a water change and not a leak. Anyway just slide a sheet of paper under there and it’ll wick the water out. Toss and repeat

How did water get under the tank? If you don’t know, You have leak. Likely silicone issue. Not going to be able to dry it out unfortunately. Will likely need to drain tank so you can either repair or replace.

If that’s a leak, drain the tank. Also, replace that stand. It looks to weak to hold the tank.

I would start planning on how you’re gonna keep stock safe. That tank is leaking and whatever it’s on is falling apart.
I would start draining that tank and putting stock into buckets with airstones to get the weight off of the failing wood so you don’t have an insurance claim happen. If you can get some kind of vessel like a sturdy storage tote that hasn’t had chemicals in it, get it ready for fish. Filter fitting on it would be excellent and make things easier.
If that filter doesn’t fit, get a sponge filter and research fish in cycle. Put the old filter media in the water, it must stay wet, you will need it . Get the heater going and temp acclimate them in. Get plants and substrate into cups to keep them with the fish.
Once everything is safe, start cleaning up and getting a new tank and stand. Setting up the temporary home will help give you time to do that. Test daily and be ready to do water changes. Feed aparingly.
If this tank isn’t leaking yay! I would do a leak test somewhere outside if you can.

How did the water get there is a major detail.

Use a metal skewer to push a piece of cotton string under the tank. It will slowly wick out the water.
But your problem is 100 times more serious than that. Go get yourself a big rubbermaid tub and transfer your fish before the whole system fails. If your tank isn’t leaking then get a proper stand before you but water back into it.
So sorry this is happening to you.

How is your first reaction “how do I dry this” and not frantically trying to figure out where it’s coming from lol
Gonna be honest my first reaction is shock at the fact you’d put a whole fish tank on a surface you can bend with a few fingers

1. What size tank do you have?
2. Did you spill water on the stand and it’s just stuck under the tank? Or do you believe your tank is leaking
If leaking, get a tank or even a clean trash can yesterday. Start changing over your fish immediately. They will be fine in a (new) plastic trash can for a few days, just wash it with dawn dish soap and rinse super well. Don’t clean your filter, just try to get it working with whatever container you have. I really hope you have a canister filter or your sol.
If you spilt water a paper towel doubled up and slid under the tank will wick up the water pretty quick. I would suggest a proper stand to avoid this issue.
Smaller tanks are less likely to spring a leak due to flex. A 29 gallon is surprisingly strong. A 55 with no center support will probably give you trouble after some time.

Well one thing I have to say is did you spill the water or did the water leak from your tank if you spilled the water just get a towel and clean it up to or put on a dehumidifier in your room cuz you can’t move that whole entire stand and tank if it’s a good size on also say to look into getting a metal tank stand that way you don’t have to worry about Wood anymore keep your supplies for your tank separate I guess but that’s an option especially if that’s crappy like not solid wood but like that particle board s*** if it is then you’re screwed if you can you know you can’t dry it up it’s going to be soaked into like that cardboard crap it’s not like your phone you can’t just soak it in rice you don’t you know get as much of that freaking water up as you can with the freaking towel if it’s not leaking from your tank and it’s just you actually made a spill drive as much as you can keep it as dry as possible in your room and it will dry up I’ll just do the air that’s not much else you can do but keep an eye on it I hope that you can get it dried up if it’s not as if not a leak and you just made a spill and be more careful next time and quit f****** with the wood I’m just going to make it worse squeeze it out like you’re freaking ringing out a freaking sponge and then get a towel and clean it up

Hahaha people are fucking wild. I’d be more concerned you can bend the table supporting your entire tank with 3 fingers dead center
