I put it down off this ledge that was in front of me. I'd say it was about 10 feet deep. Is there another spot I should've tried?

The bridge. The entire section from you to the bridge everything is good.
Also hit the back currents from the bridge pillars or whatever you call them. Especially the middle one best chance of a bigger fish from my personal experience

Fishing for bass? Id start with a white unweighted fluke and cat up current and twitch it back to you. If nothing comes up after it, try weighted fluke doing same thing. Maybe spinnerbaits and then jerkbaits trying to get a reaction strike.

Depth changes, bottom composition changes, and especially current breaks are your friend.

I’ll fish the edge I’m approaching from way back in the grass so I don’t spook anything near the bank I’m about to walk to.
